Empty Bowl Event

The Empty Bowl event was a great success! Many people gathered together to eat a simple meal of delicious homemade soup and bread. Diane and I, together with the community, raised over a thousand dollars that will be donated to two area food pantries. It was so wonderful to see so many people from different parts come to together to help feed folks who are hungry.Thank- you everyone who participated.

A Little Help from Our Friends

Skeff Thomas helped out by showing some Girl Scouts how to throw a bowl on the pottery wheel. The girls also lent a hand by glazing some of the bowls that were made at the March YAM show. This project has brought together people from many different communities, to lend a hand, and help us help hungry people in our community.
